Another localized ASP.NET microsite for AMD. This site also required some complex JavaScript to calculate and track the current goals of the 50x15 initiative.

Project Highlights

  • Worked with AMD to scope requirements and estimate costs for building a multi-language web site to spotlight AMD's 50x15 initiative that will "help enable affordable Internet access and computing capability for 50 percent of the world's population by the year 2015".
  • The ASP.NET site was built to use different resources at run time, depending on the user's language and location, to present localized content.
  • Utilized the Microsoft Enterprise Localization Toolkit to assist the entire resource and localization process: creating resources, packaging resources into DLL assemblies, and accessing the resources from the ASP.NET application.
