K4 Plan Goals is a retirement decision tool that delivers a complete, personalized retirement strategy. Now, this rich Internet application (RIA), built with Adobe Flex, is only as good as the data it displays. So, I built a web-based administration tool for financial firms to manage their strategies and client data.

Project Highlights

Designed and developed an ASP.NET 2.0 financial administration application to facilitate the management of a hierarchical list of investment firm’s asset classes and their allocations, portfolios, funds, plans, and participant investments.
Developed a set of ASP.NET 2.0 web services for commutation between the DAL and an Adobe Flex RIA used by participants to help with the selection of investment portfolios.
Used SubSonic to build the DAL, based on the database schema, to provide a quick and effective OO approach to database communications.
Worked directly with the client to understand their business model and goals and then developed the visual designs and desired work flows for all the interior pages, including all the HTML, CSS, and web assets.
